Spotlight On CryoDerm Educator Craig Knowles

Craig Knowles, BAS, LMT, BCTMB, CNMT, has been on our team of CryoDerm Educators in 2019. Craig has been a massage therapist since 1996, specializing in helping in rehabilitation and pain management for those with sports and medical injuries. Massage therapy is his passion.

He is also a tireless volunteer and advocate for the massage therapy profession. Craig has been the Chairman of the Georgia Board of Massage Therapy since 2013. He is also currently serving as the President of the Federation of State Massage Therapy Boards, an organization he has volunteered for since 2015. He has many years of service volunteering for the National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage & Bodywork, serving on various committees since 2006.

Craig is also Lead Massage Therapy Instructor at Gwinnett College in Lilburn, GA, teaching classes in professional ethics, anatomy, kinesiology, neuromuscular therapy, assessment, and licensing review. An Approved Provider of Continuing Education under the NCBTMB, he also regularly teaches classes in rehabilitative work and lymphatic drainage techniques at Gwinnett College and at various conventions around the country.  

Craig is a graduate of Sienna Heights University with a Bachelor's degree in Applied Science and Healthcare Management. He was inducted into the Massage Therapy Hall of Fame in 2020.
