Every breath is a giveaway dance between you and the plants. ~ Susun Weed

The oldest known fossilized land plants are around 420 million years old. According to Science.org, pond scum, or algae in polite terms, appeared possibly 100 million years before that. Due to the ephemeral nature of plants, and their decomposition, scientists speculate that plants are probably much older than fossilized speciments show. Without the existence of plants, humans couldn't live. Plants take in carbon dioxide and release oxygen. It's the cycle of life. Not only do we depend on plants for the very air we breathe; they also provide food and medicine.

80% of the world's population rely totally on plant medicine for healthcare. 25% of prescription medicines are derived directly or indirectly from plants.¹ Archaeological studies show that plant medicine was being used in Iraq more than 60,000 years ago.²

When CryoDerm was founded, our mission was to formulate our products with thoughtfully sourced, plant-based ingredients. More than two decades later, we still adhere to that philosophy. None of our products are just lab-created synthetic indredients, although the laboratory is certainly important to us. Every plant extract we use in our manufacturing process is subjected to controlled tests of chemical and physical properties using rigorous quality controls, in the search for active constituents and biochemical profiles. The final products are subjected to further testing in an independent FDA-recognized analytical testing laboratory. We go over and beyond what we're required to do in order to produce the most efficacious products possible. We research, test, and repeat!

You can rest assured that as we develop new products, the first thing we will seek are the plants. Mother Nature never lets us down.
