Pain Management 101

Many of our customers are healthcare professionals who use and recommend our products. We truly appreciate that. And we appreciate the end users--the patients who benefit from them.

Pain, whether it's acute or chronic, is a fact of life. Almost everyone will suffer from it at one time or another, whether from injury or disease. Sometimes, treatment for it is as traumatic as the pain...drugs with lots of side effects, some of which are potentially dangerous or even life-threatening, or worst-case scenario, surgery.

Some people are very pro-active about managing their pain by doing everything they can personally do to alleviate or have some measure of control over it. Many painful conditions, such as fibromyalgia, can be lessened with cardiovascular exercise--but there's a catch--people who feel like every fiber in their body is hurting don't feel like exercising. It's sometimes hard to convince yourself to do something that will help you in the long run, when you just don't feel like it in the moment. You have to find something you feel like doing. Swimming, water-walking, and water aerobics can be a great choice. Water is as close to a gravity-free environment as we can get on earth. It takes pressure off your joints, and you can get the benefits of exercise without pounding the pavement or doing exercise that's so intense it takes your breath away. Other forms of gentle exercise, such as yoga, t'ai chi, and simply stretching can also be beneficial.

Massage therapy and chiropractic are often helpful alternatives for pain management. Other non-invasive methods include meditation and biofeedback...and just plain rest. In the course of our busy lives, we often ignore warning signals of a pain here and a spasm there until it becomes unbearable. We keep going when we should listen to our bodies. There's an old saying, "If you don't make time for your wellness, you'll be forced to make time for your sickness." That's very true.

CryoDerm is in the business of pain management. We're not a replacement for your doctor's treatments or advice. But we are proud of the products we manufacture and the research and development that goes into them. We know that our plant-based formulas are effective in helping to relieve pain and inflammation, and we have research studies and numerous testimonies to prove it. Our products are aspirin-free and NSAID-free, gluten-free, dye-free, and paraben-free. For those who seek a non-narcotic pain reliever, Rezume is made from plant extracts that are proven to aid in healthy anti-inflammatory and pain signal responses. Our topical Cold and Heat products offer hours of relief. Many people alternate between the two.

If you're not a healthcare provider, or your provider doesn't offer our products, the public can purchase on our sister website at www.painreliefcream.com .
